“Armenian Wine” will invest $40 million, employing 5,000 people in Armenia, informed Suren Papikyan, Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure at a government sitting today.
The high-rise ‘Digitown’ International Center for Innovative IT Technologies will be located at 11/1 Isakov Street in Yerevan.
The Armenian government decided to provide an area of 9,053 square meters on the territory of the special music school #13 to Armenia Wine for realization of the project. ‘Armenia Wine’ will make a preliminary investment of 1 billion AMD ($1.9 million) to acquire the property, said Papikyan.
Armenia Wine Company is a large wine company. It is engaged in viticulture, winemaking, brandy, as well as the production of champagne and vodka.
