Today, on December 12, Azerbaijani Armed Forces resumed offensive operations in the direction of Artsakh’s Hin Tagher and Khtsaberd villages in Hadrut, reports the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.

Artsakh Defense Army units are taking adequate measures.

The Azerbaijani attacks should first of all be responded to by the Russian peacekeepers, said Mané Gevorgyan, Press Secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia in a Facebook post.

Her posts reads as follows:

“The attack of the Azerbaijani forces in the direction of Hin Tagher and Khtsaberd should first of all be responded to by the Russian peacekeepers. The peacekeeping leadership is fully aware of the developments since early morning.

The Armenian side has repeatedly appealed to the Russian peacekeepers in writing and orally to carry out their function in the Hin Tagher-Khtsaberd section, and an agreement has been reached at the highest level.”
