On Wednesday, November 25, 2020 the French Senate voted to recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh. With 305 votes for and one vote against, the resolution overwhelmingly passed.

“The decision made by the French Senate is historic. International recognition of Artsakh is on the international agenda,” said PM Nikol Pashinyan in a Facebook post following the vote.
