Today, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, ex-representative of Armenia’s Defense Ministry informed in a Facebook post that he was attacked last night by two unknown assailants.

His post reads as follows:

“I have been receiving various threats since the 9th of the month, but I did not pay attention to anything. I do not even respond to calls for obvious revenge. I refused to file a complaint with the police against those people. Two people attacked me last night, fortunately I was able to defend myself. I am not afraid of anyone, I do not consider anyone an enemy.  However, since the calls and threats of revenge continue today, as they are with me in some places, I have to call the police.”
