November 22 – Day of Remembrance of the Victims who fell for the Defense of Homeland and commemorating service in Armenian churches.

As Zartonk Media was informed from press service of the President of the Republic of Armenia, the statement runs as follows,

Today, President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian met with His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

The President of the Republic and His Holiness issued a call to declare next Sunday, November 22, the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes Who Died for the Defense of Homeland in the Artsakh Liberation War and to hold a commemorating service in all Armenian churches around the world.
