A Russian Mi-24 transport helicopter was shot down on the territory of Armenia, a source in the Russian power structures told Sputnik Armenia.

“Presumably, a Russian helicopter was shot down from the direction of Nakhichevan. It fell on the territory of Armenia,” Sputnik Armenia is informed.

Today at 18:39, an alert was sounded that a Russian helicopter had crashed in a gorge located on the route from the village of Yeraskh to the village of Paruyr Sevak.
