Intense Battles Ensue Near Shushi, As Azeris Bring Reinforcements In An Attempt to Take the City, Artsakh Resists Attacks.

Artsakh continues to defend Sushi as battles enter their third day, taking place day and night in the roads leading to the city as Azeri forces continue to suffer losses, per Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the Armenian Unified Infocenter, Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The enemy is involving new forces & equipment in Shushi, in an attempt to capture Artsakh’s second largest city.

At this moment, our army is persistently resisting attacks while inflicting significant losses to the enemy as very intense battles continue.

Battles are also taking place in Martuni as Azerbaijani forces attempted to attack with the help of armored vehicles, but after suffering losses they retreaded to starting positions, leaving soldiers on the battlefield.

Fighting also took place south of Berdzor as the enemy tried to advance several times but failed. Our subdivisions managed to make some improvements in that direction.

Throughout the day Azerbaijani forces were shelling Artsakh’s civilian cities with  artillery.
