Over the night of November 5-6, combat operations continued in all the major operational directions, per Shushan Stepanyan, Spokeswoman of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
The Artsakh Defense Army units conducted successful defensive battles, inflicted heavy losses on enemy equipment and personnel in the eastern, southern, and southwestern sectors of the frontline.
Azerbaijan attempted numerous attacks by hostile assault groups in the direction of Shushi, they were thwarted. The enemy incurred heavy losses in the southwestern direction of Berdzor.
Throughout the whole day the enemy shelled Artsakh’s civilian settlements with rocket and artillery systems. There are casualties among Artsakh’s civilian population.
The hostile offensive operations continue in all directions of the frontline. Artsakh Defense Army units are fully in control of the operational and tactical situation and undertake measures for follow-on detection and fire engagement of the hostile force.
