During the fact-finding mission launched by the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Artsakh on the attacks of the Azerbaijani armed forces on the civilian population of the Republic of Artsakh, the names of four civilians have been revealed, who were killed in the civilian settlements as a result of Azerbaijani shelling and UAV strikes.

The list is presented below.

  1. Victoria Gevorgyan – born in 2011 in Martuni town, was shot dead in the yard of her house. V. Gevorgyan’s mother and brother also wounded.
  2. Ellada Balayan – born in Martuni town in 1961, was shot dead in the yard of her house.
  3. Lesmonia Stepanyan – born in 1941 in Hadrut tonw, was killed from a UAV strike in her apartment. In 1992 L. Stepanyan lost her arm as a result of a mine explosion in the yard of her house, and then her son died in the war.
  4. Eric Grigoryan – born in Stepanakert in 1996, was shot dead near the village of Mets Shen, Martakert region.

The Defender continues a fact-finding mission, during which more than 30 civilians were injured, 4 deaths, large-scale property and infrastructure damage.
