On July 27, at around 1:10 am, Armenian Armed Forces soldier, Ashot G. Mikaelyan, was fatally shot by an Azeri sniper along the northeastern frontiers of Armenia, per Shushan Stepanyan, spokesperson of the of Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

The RA Ministry of Defense expresses deep condolences and support to Ashot Mikaelyan’s family members, relatives and colleagues.
