Moscow Authorities Arrest More Than 50 Azerbaijanis For Attacking Armenians.

DiasporaMoscow Authorities Arrest More Than 50 Azerbaijanis For Attacking Armenians.

Over 50 Azerbaijanis (mostly citizens of Azerbaijan) were detained in Moscow last night for attacking Armenians, the Union of Armenians of Russia reports.

They even beat one Azerbaijani, mistaking him for an Armenian.

According to the Union of Armenians of Russia, they will be charged with hooliganism and inciting ethnic hatred.

The Union of Armenians of Russia urges Armenians to be vigilant and not to give in to provocations.

These arrests come after a large number of Azeris are targeting and locating Armenian individuals and businesses with the sole motive of violence and vandalism. These actions have no place in society, they only continue to sow interethnic strife and undermine the multinational foundations of the Russian Federation.
