Today, the Republic of Armenia confirmed 330 new coronavirus cases and 7 new deaths, on Monday, July 6, taking the total number of cases to 28,936, per the Ministry of Health of Armenia.

Out of the 28,936 total cases, 16,302 people recovered (162 Today) and 491 patients with underlying health conditions died. The remaining 11,984 are active cases, per Alina Nikoghosyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health. To date, 123,815 negative coronavirus tests have been conducted in Armenia, added Nikoghosyan.

Regarding the latest cases of death, the patients 72 (female), 64 (male), 71 (male), 72 (male), 87 (male), 78 (male) and 79 (male) years old. All had pre-existing chronic diseases. 1 case of death was registered yesterday when the patient tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 159.
