Turkish athlete who made racist comment about Armenians appointed ministry advisor

Famous Turkish wrestler Riza Kayaalp has been appointed an advisor at the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Turkey, and the Turkish president has signed the decision on appointing the Turkish athlete to the position.

Bırgun recalls that back in 2013, this athlete had tweeted the following during the Gezi Park events: “You left the ground to Armenians, God punish you”. After this, he was disqualified for six months for this racist comment-
