The 75-member military division of Armenian soldiers are rehearsing in Moscow ahead of the upcoming military parade on June 24. They will carry the flags of Armenia and the Tamanyan Division, per Shushan Stepanyan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

The parade is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of Word War II. The parade was initially planned for May 9 but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this week, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan informed Russian President Vladimir Putin that he will not be able to attend the military parade in Moscow due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Armenia.. The Armenian delegation will be headed by Defense Minister David Tonoyan instead.
