Armenia’s Department of Police has urged people not to travel to Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport to meet friends and relatives returning from abroad.

The Police, in a recently released statement, says that citizens returning from abroad are taken to isolation wards by bus and thus, it makes no sense to travel to the airport.

“In order to prevent crowds and for health safety reasons, we urge you not to go to the airport,” the statement reads.
