Today, the Republic of Armenia confirmed 218 new coronavirus cases and 3 new deaths, on Tuesday, May 19, taking the total number of cases to 5,041, per Armenia’s Ministry of Health.

Out of the 5,041 total cases (218 Today), 2,164 people recovered (145 Today) and 64 patients with underlying health conditions died. The remaining 2,788 are active cases, per Alina Nikoghosyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health. To date, 43,041 negative coronavirus tests have been conducted in Armenia, added Nikoghosyan.

The 62nd, 63rd and 64th COVID-19 fatalities were a 59-year-old male, a 74-year-old female and a 56-year-old male, per Alina Nikoghosyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health.
