Today, the Republic of Armenia confirmed 180 new coronavirus cases and 1 new death, on Wednesday, May 13, taking the total number of cases to 3,718, per Armenia’s Ministry of Health.”¨-
Out of the 3,718 total cases, 1,500 people recovered (70 Today) and 48 patients with underlying health conditions died. The remaining 2,149 are active cases, per Alina Nikoghosyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health. To date, 34,766 negative coronavirus tests have been conducted in Armenia, added Nikoghosyan.

The 48th COVID-19 fatality was a 65-year-old male with no pre-existing chronic diseases, per Alina Nikoghosyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health.
