The number of coronavirus cases in Armenia climbed again on Thursday, March 19, now standing at 122, said Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.

Most cases have been registered in the town of Vagharshapat (commonly known as Etchmiadzin) and among the employees of a production plant in Yerevan. All the patients receiving inpatient treatment are in satisfactory condition, Nikoghosyan said.
–
All cases are connected with the source of infection at a production facility in Yerevan and all patients had been in isolation.
–
“75% of the cases are connected with two sources – Etchmiadzin and a production facility in Yerevan,” said Pashinyan yesterday in an interview with Shant TV.
–
“13 of the infected are over the age of 60 and none are in serious medical condition,” said Torosyan in government cabinet session.
–
Armenia declared a 30-day state of emergency on Monday and banned citizens of 16 nations from entering the country. So far, one person has recovered from the coronavirus in Armenia.
