Reconstruction of the Surp Asdvadzadzin (Holy Mother of God) Armenian church in Kayseri, Turkey, has been completed, and the church has been opened as a library.

Kayseri Mayor Mustafa Celik had said the church would become a unique 24-hour service library, according to the Sonhaber Turkish website.

He had noted that this library would have ordinary and e-books as well as special books for the blind.

“The library will be equipped with all the latest technological innovations,” the mayor of Kayseri had added. “The cost of the project will be about 8 million liras [about $2 million].”
