1,459.152 thousand tourists arrived in Armenia in January-September 2019, the Statistical Service of Armenia (NSS) reported, adding the number has increased by 14.4% to compare with the number in the indicated period of the previous year.

To note, some 1,275.209 tourists visited Armenia in 2018. According to the new data, 1,312,282 people left Armenia for tourism purposes over the past nine months which is 14.3% increase against the number recorded in the previous year.
