Today, Gnel Sanosyan, the Governor of the Gegharkunik province of Armenia in a Facebook post announced that no positions in Gegharkunik will be transferred to Azerbaijan.

His posts reads as follows:

“Dear residents of Gegharkunik region, some Facebook users, media representatives today continued to spread false information, this time as if some parts of Gegharkunik region, positions in the eastern part, particularly in the villages of Jil, Pambak, Daranak, would give way to the enemy. The mentioned news also does not correspond to the reality. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia fulfills its tasks in all directions.”
