Azerbaijan continues ceasefire violations, opens fire on Noyemberyan, Gegharkunik province and along Nakhichevan border, said Artsrun Hovhannisyan, head of the Command Staff Faculty at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University, in a press briefing at the Crisis Information Center in Ijevan, Tavush.

Earlier today, Shushan Stepanyan of the Ministry of Defense gave an update of the border situation as of 11:00 pm.

Last night, 120 ceasefire violations were carried out by the Azeri Armed Forces along the Republic of Armenia border, mostly firearms, according to Military Spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan. This occurred, not only in the Tavush village, but along the entire Tavush region. Shots were fired in the direction of Noyemberyan, Gegharkunik and Nakhichevan.

Furthermore, the situation with the injured has not changed. One injured continues to remain extremely heavy, but there is stability, he added.

In total, the Armenian side have had 36 wounded during these days. Most of them did not need medical intervention and returned to their units. 20 servicemen received certain medical treatment, 10 of whom are still receiving treatment. The condition of 5 from this 10 is severe and of 1 – extremely severe.
