An Overwhelming Majority Of Armenians Want The Unification Of Artsakh With Armenia.

An overwhelming majority of Armenians are in favor of unification of Artsakh with Armenia, per the Caucasus Research Resource Center.

70% of Armenians favor the unification of the Republic of Artsakh with the Republic of Armenia, and 16% were in favor of unification with “certain conditions,” according to a new study.

Question: Various ideas have been proposed for settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. As I mention each idea, please tell me whether you would definitely favor it, might accept it under certain circumstances or would never accept it.

Have Nagorno-Karabakh as a formal part of Armenia:

Never accept: 9%

Accept under certain circumstances: 16%

Definitely favor: 70%

Indifferent: 1%

DK/RA: 4%

This is the ninth time the Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC) has conducted a study called the Caucasus Barometer. The polls were conducted from February 21 to March 15, 2020. Within the framework of the survey, CRRC-Armenia specialists also studied the mood of Armenians on the Artsakh national liberation movement.
