HomelandAzerbaijan Delays Return of Armenian Prisoners-Of-War, Sends Empty Plane.

The return of Armenian prisoners-of-war has been delayed, informs the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia’s Office, per Armenpress.

Earlier Today, the relatives of the Armenian prisoners-of-war were waiting at the Erebuni airport for their arrival, however the plane arrived empty.

The Azerbaijani side failed to fulfill the 8th point of the November 9 trilateral statement, which is a gross violation of the post-war humanitarian process, said the spokesperson for the Office.

“Negotiations continue with the mediation of the Russian side, and we hope that the Azerbaijani side will eventually respect the signed statement and implement the humanitarian agreement, thus contributing to the establishment of stability in the region,” reads the Deputy PM Office’s comment.
