HomelandAzeris Suspend Search Operations In Artsakh Indefinitely With No Explanation.

Today, Azerbaijani Authorities indefinitely suspended search and rescue operations in the territories of Artsakh under Azerbaijani control after the Azeris failed to authorize the mission that was scheduled on Monday, February 22, informs Artsakh’s State Service for Emergency Situations.

No explanation was given for Azerbaijan’s refusal to allow the Artsakh rescue teams to search for the bodies of the victims of the recent war in territories under Baku’s control. The process was first halted on February 15 and has not been resumed since.

This is the first time since the ceasefire that the search has stopped for so long.

To date, a total of 1,485 bodies of servicemen and civilian have been found and retrieved.
