Today, the Republic of Armenia confirmed 759 new coronavirus cases and 13 new deaths, on Friday, June 26, taking the total number of cases to 23,247, per the Ministry of Health of Armenia.

Out of the 23,247 total cases, 12,149 people recovered (814 Today) and 410 patients with underlying health conditions died. The remaining 10,557 are active cases, per Alina Nikoghosyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health. To date, 105,046 negative coronavirus tests have been conducted in Armenia, added Nikoghosyan.

Regarding the latest cases of death, the patients were 79 (male), 86 (male), 62 (female), 64 (male), 48 (male), 53 (male), 70 (male), 64 (male), 64 (male), 55 (male), 51 (male), 89 (female) and 88 (female) years old. All had pre-existing chronic diseases.

Today, Armenia ranked 23rd in the world in the amount of new coronavirus cases, and 24th in the world in the amount of new deaths, per Worldometers.

Today, Armenia ranked 11th in world in the number of people infected with COVID-19 per one million inhabitants. There are 7,845 cases of this infection per one million residents in Armenia, and the absolute number of infected people. The death toll in Armenia, on the other hand, is 410, which is 26th in the world per one million inhabitants.
