The Republic of Armenia has confirmed 43 new coronavirus cases, on Saturday, April 18, total cases now stand at 1,291, per Armenia’s Ministry of Health.

Out of the 1,291 total cases, 545 people recovered (22 Today) and 20 patients with underlying health conditions died. The remaining 726 are active cases, per Alina Nikoghosyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health.

To date, 12,680 negative coronavirus tests have been conducted in Armenia, added Nikoghosyan.

Armenia has extended the state of emergency in the country by May 14 and restricted the movement of citizens.
