DiasporaArmenian Doctor Dies Of Coronavirus In Italy, Infected On The Job.

Armenian doctor Ghevont Mouradian has died of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the town of Salsomaggiore Terme, Northern Italy, per Parmatoday.it. He contracted the virus while performing his duties as a doctor in Italy, one of the worst-hit countries in the world.

More than 50 doctors in Italy have reportedly died due to complications from coronavirus as the country continues to struggle with the massive impact caused by the pandemic.

Italy’s National Federation of Orders of Surgeons and Dentists (FNOMCeO) released a list of names of the dead doctors amid a blistering attack on the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) available.

Dr. Mouradian was born and raised in Qamishli, Syria, he studied medicine in India and then moved to European countries later in his life, per Yerakouyn.
