Armenian gymnast Hamlet Manukyan won gold in the pommel horse final at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Paris, France, on September 27, scoring 15.200 to improve on his silver at the same event a year ago, reports Zartonk Sports.
The 19-year-old from Vagharshapat, the 2025 European champion on the apparatus, has now added Paris gold to World Cup titles he won in Cairo and Osijek earlier this year. He also won two junior world titles in 2023, on pommel horse and rings.
Armenia took a second medal at the event through Artur Avetisyan, who won silver on rings. The 28-year-old from Yerevan is the reigning European rings champion, a title he won in Zagreb earlier this year.
The World Challenge Cup in Paris runs through September 28.
