NewsGlobal Fashion Giant Elle Arabia Calls Armenia “The Luxury Escape No One's Talking About” To Millions Of Arab Readers

Armenia has received a spotlight from Elle Arabia, one of the most influential fashion and lifestyle platforms in the Arab world with an audience of millions, which published a feature today calling the country “the luxury escape no one’s talking about.” The piece ran in both English and Arabic, placing Armenia in front of readers across the Gulf and North Africa in their own language.

Elle Arabia is the regional edition of the international fashion and lifestyle magazine, which runs roughly fifty editions worldwide and reaches some 32 million magazine readers and a total global audience of more than 250 million across print, digital, and social platforms. Few publications with that reach have sold Armenia to Arabic-speaking travelers before.

The feature comes as Armenia has extended visa-free entry for residents of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman through July 2027, allowing stays of up to 180 days within a one-year period. Tourism overall hit a record 1.042 million visits in the first half of 2026, the highest ever for the period, according to Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan.

The magazine called Armenia a place where ancient heritage meets breathtaking landscapes, rich traditions, and unforgettable experiences, pointing to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, centuries-old craftsmanship, destination dining, vineyard escapes, and adventures set against spectacular scenery. Armenia, the feature said, is fast becoming one of the region’s most captivating destinations for culturally curious travelers.

The visuals moved through the Temple of Garni in summer sun and under winter snow. Paragliding above Lake Sevan. Hot air balloons over the mountains. The Cascade in central Yerevan. The fountains outside Moscow Cinema. The monasteries, the mountains, the food, and the hospitality have drawn visitors for years.

The feature puts Armenia in front of travelers who had never thought to consider it, through a name they already trust.
