On October 9, Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan met with Gavin Wood, co-founder of Ethereum, founder of the Web3 Foundation, and a leading expert in blockchain technologies.
The parties discussed strengthening Armenia’s role in the global Web3 ecosystem, promoting blockchain education and professional development, and creating new cooperation formats to incubate startups and expand investment opportunities.
Minister Hayrapetyan emphasized that such collaboration represents an important step toward expanding Armenia’s involvement in the global blockchain community and creating valuable opportunities for future technological innovators.
During the meeting, Gavin Wood announced his intention to establish a Web3 University aimed at fostering technological, educational, and economic development.
