Armenia’s roster of FIFA referees has reached a historic milestone. For the first time, the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) will be represented by four FIFA referees and eight assistant referees on the international stage, reports the FFA.
Additionally, Armenian referees will officiate as VAR referees for the first time in international matches, marking another significant step forward for Armenian football officiating.

The Armenian Football Federation Referees’ Committee also reports that during the training camp in Cyprus from January 30 to February 8, work was carried out on the analysis of meeting recordings and the improvement of the VAR system.
Before the resumption of the Armenian Premier League and the Football Federation Youth Championships, a 4-day seminar-camp will be held at the Football Academy/Technical Center, which will be attended by referees who did not participate in the camp in Cyprus, as well as the graduates of the 2024 referee school.
The Referees’ Committee is also open to proposals and is always ready to discuss suggestions from interested parties.
