The weekend will feature an engaging lineup of activities, networking opportunities, and cultural celebrations.

The Winter Weekend kicks off Friday night with a meet-and-greet social gathering at Phoenicia Restaurant. This exclusive event offers a unique and intimate setting to connect, mix, and mingle. Attendees can enjoy complimentary appetizers and refreshments, with a full bar and hookah available for purchase.

On Saturday evening, the highlight of the weekend takes place at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown with the Winter White Ball. This formal event offers a stunning venue complete with entertainment, a dance floor, lounge areas, and a cigar bar. Each registered guest receives two drink tickets. Complimentary appetizers and refreshments are available, with a full bar for additional purchase. Guests are encouraged to wear formal white attire.

The weekend concludes on Sunday with an educational speaker series featuring renowned guest speaker Tigran Basmadjyan, Managing Partner of New York Life Southern California. This inspiring session includes an interactive Q&A and an exclusive in-person update on the construction progress of the museum. Complimentary coffee and refreshments will be served, and business casual attire is recommended.

“The Young Leaders Council Winter Weekend is a unique opportunity for young professionals to connect with one another and celebrate heritage,” said Aleen Ohanian, Young Leaders Council Chair, adding, “Through programs like these, we are investing in the future leaders of our community and helping foster a strong sense of cultural pride and connection.”

The Armenian American Museum’s Young Leaders Council engages the community through educational programs, networking events, and culture-focused community initiatives, creating meaningful opportunities for growth and development. By doing so, it supports the museum’s broader mission and vision.

The museum’s mission is to promote an understanding and appreciation of America’s ethnic and cultural diversity by sharing the Armenian American experience. The museum campus, under construction at Glendale Central Park, aims to enrich the community, educate the public, and empower individuals to embrace cultural diversity and speak out against prejudice.
