On Tuesday, March 16, the Armenian Armed Forces will begin conducting operative-tactical military exercises with up to 7,500 servicemen, about 200 missiles & jet-artillery, more than 150 anti-tank means, about 100 armored vehicles, more than 90 anti-aircrafts, reports the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
The statement runs as follows,
“According to the 2021 Q1 readiness plan, the Armenian Armed Forces will hold joint and tactical-professional military exercises in all operational directions from March 16 to 20, with the involvement of the special forces, with the aim of:
– To check the combat readiness of the troops, the capabilities of the operative unit and the ability to act quickly in the current situation,
– Clarify the issues of cooperation of the staff by supporting forces,
– To conduct fire management trainings of subdivisions by drawing operative-tactical episodes, both combat and non-combat shooting.
Up to 7,500 servicemen, about 200 missiles & jet-artillery, more than 150 anti-tank systems, about 100 armored vehicles, more than 90 anti-aircraft defense means will be involved in the tactical-professional military exercises. To support the tactical operations of the troops, the exercise will involve air attack means (aviation).”
