On November 26th HBO Max released the first three episodes of its new show, “The Flight Attendant.” The new murder mystery show is based entirely on renowned author Chris Bohjalian’s novel of the same name. The show stars Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) and Michael Huisman (World War Z), as well as Zosia Mamet (Girls) who plays an Armenian lawyer in the show. The show was greeted with positive reviews across the board. Two new episodes of the show are released every Thursday night.
Bohjalian himself has been a champion for the Armenian cause. His book “The Sandcastle Girls” has raised massive awareness in the non-Armenian community about the Armenian Genocide including being picked as Oprah Winfrey’s book of the week when it was released. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Walter Cerf Medal for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts and the ANCA Freedom Award.
