On Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu commented on the situation of Armenia, strongly condemning the “coup attempt,” reports Russian RIA Novosti news agency.
“Wherever a coup takes place in the world, we condemn it. We also strongly condemn this attempt (in Armenia). You can criticize, demand the resignation of the government – this is normal. Not only the overthrow of the government with the help of the army, but even an appeal from its side – this is unacceptable,” said Turkish FM Cavusoglu, speaking in Budapest, where he is on a working visit. The broadcast was posted on Cavusoglu’s Twitter.
