Today, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with with French President Emanuel Macron in which they discussed the situation in Artsakh.
As Zartonk Media was informed from press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the statement runs as follows,
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with French President Emanuel Macron.
The interlocutors discussed the situation in Artsakh.
Both sides stressed the need to fully resume the work of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The issue of ensuring the safe return of tens of thousands of people who have fled their homes in recent weeks was discussed, and the importance of preserving the religious, historical and cultural heritage of Artsakh was mentioned.
It was possible to maintain peace in the region and further defuse the situation.
In this regard, the RA Prime Minister noted the fundamental importance of the international recognition of the Artsakh Republic.
