Today, Armenia’s Minister of Education, Arayik Harutyunyan announced that Armenia’s Universities will reopen for all students on September 15, 2020.
Zartonk Media was informed from Arayik Harutyunyan’s Facebook post, which reads as follows:
Dear students and professors, after a discussion with representatives of the Commandant’s Office, it was decided to resume classes at universities.
Classes will resume only for first-year students starting from September 1, 2020. You can learn about the procedure for resumption of classes and the lists of subjects by visiting the official websites of respective universities.
Classes for all other students will start on September 15.
After a meeting with university rectors, we also stated that universities will determine the way the classes will be organized, either on-site or remotely. Universities will provide details on their websites and announce the list of subjects.
Dear students and professors, quality observance of the anti-epidemic rules is the guarantee for ensuring the continuity of classes. If all this isn’t observed properly, restrictions will be inevitable.
