Today, the Republic of Armenia confirmed 523 new coronavirus cases and 10 new deaths, on Wednesday, July 1, taking the total number of cases to 26,065, per the Ministry of Health of Armenia.

Out of the 26,065 total cases, 14,563 people recovered (515 Today) and 515 patients with underlying health conditions died. The remaining 10,900 are active cases, per Alina Nikoghosyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health. To date, 111,665 negative coronavirus tests have been conducted in Armenia, added Nikoghosyan.

Regarding the latest cases of death, the patients were 65 (male), 74 (male), 62 (female), 83 (male), 79 (female), 70 (female), 65 (female), 76 (male), 66 (male) and 76 (male) years old. All had pre-existing chronic diseases. 2 cases of death were registered yesterday when the patients tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 149.
